PROJECT NO. 16

This event was a huge deal to QVC, as it was the first time the company was offering free shipping over a weekend as well as promoting Columbus Day as a recognized holiday.
This event was by far the largest event I have worked on and was specifically created to most efficiently utilize cross-channel designs made for social posts, the website, internal designers, on-air content including promo reels as well as swipe for on-set direction, emails, and more. I worked with many different colleagues on this to get it to where it was when we went live; as it crossed over many days with different promotions happening on certain days. Copywriters, ecommerce partners, social strategists, creative directors, D+I partners, programming partners, designers and on-air partners worked with me to make this large event happen. First was the base Columbus Day Weekend look and feel as seen below.

Clearance Sub-Event
Next was the Columbus Day Weekend Clearance subsidiary event, which spanned throughout five consecutive days and evolved to have more of a promotional, eye-catching color palette than the base look and feel.

Free Shipping Weekend Sub-Event
The Columbus Day Weekend Free Shipping Event was the most promotional of the tie-in events; so the colors evolved to be saturated, punchy and bright to catch the most attention possible.

All-in-all, this Columbus Day event was a success for the business; it succeeded in bringing in new names from all platforms since there was a heavy hand in social promotions, as well as promoting deals the customer would have otherwise never seen before.
